Currys develops online training programme
Currys has developed a new online training programme that includes customer service, presentation and handling installation goods.
The programme, which was developed by Cognisco, is bespoke and will measure individual performance in terms of managing expectations, planning and debriefs, as well as the other elements, OnRec reports.
It will allow for ongoing assessment, and provide training where it is deemed necessary. This will improve customer service, as it will boost employees' understanding of their roles and cut business risk.
"The Cognisco programme allows us to recognise those Home Delivery staff, who have a thorough, in-depth understanding of their role as well as facilitating a focus on training where it will really make a difference," said Currys' Terry Murphy.
Currys is a major home electronics retailer, with 295 superstores and 73 high street stores in the UK and Ireland. The company was founded in 1884 by Henry Curry, initially selling bicycles.
