Management Development Training Courses

Organisations don't achieve results - people do. High-performing organisations focus on identifying, recruiting, developing, training and engaging top talent. From day one, of any management role, the skills of leading, guiding and co-ordinating the work of others begin to overtake in importance whatever task or professional skills we have previously spent time learning.

However, all too often, such critically important management skills suffer from a lack of development, leaving managers at all levels - and hence their organisations - vulnerable to the cost and impact of conflict resolution, ineffective performance management and the under-utilisation of people resources. All too often, managers are expected to learn the required management skills on the job and through trial and error. This approach is not only unfair to the manager but also to those they are managing.

Acting as a catalyst to facilitate the management development process, GA Training has developed a series of management training and one-to-one coaching programmes, which have been designed for employees at all levels within an organisation. We focus on the critical behavioural changes and competencies required to become an effective manager. And by using an array of active learning workshops we focus on 'real life' workplace problems to better equip supervisors and managers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead individuals and teams while, at the same time, successfully contributing to the organisation's goals.

Additionally, going forward, a critical skill for all employees will be the ability to manage their own learning and development.

Our courses, designed for all levels of management, are based on the foundations of effective management - planning, organising, and leading and co-ordinating resources. New managers gain the ability to better understand the key elements of effective management, and for more established leaders it enables them to consider their management styles and approaches.
