BT Global Services' customer service praised in survey

The customer service supplied by a leading company has been given an overall rating of excellent in a customer experience report.

BT Global Services has achieved the highest-ever score in the Telemark Services survey, achieving a new world record for consumer satisfaction.

Among the areas the study highlighted was the company's focus on identifying and working on areas its users care about, earning confidence and building relationships based on trust.

Janet Watkin, director of Telemark, states that the award acknowledges the firm's success in "capturing the hearts and minds" of its consumers through excellence.

She states: "BT is perceived as best in class for the customer service experience with global data VPN, having achieved poll position in the overall customer satisfaction rankings for the second consecutive time."

Last month, BusinessWeek identified Amazon.com as the world's best customer service provider.
