Customer service training: Award could reflect good consumer care

08 July 2009

An awards ceremony is inviting nominations in a number of categories, including one that will reward the results of customer service training.

The Powys Business Awards Business of the Year Award, which is sponsored by Powys County Council, will assess the winners in each of the other categories according to a number of criteria, with the judges looking at customer service training and the level of consumer care that a business has achieved.

In addition, the company's attitudes towards staff training and development will be taken into account, with pursuit of excellence also being rewarded.

Entries are being invited in a number of other categories including the Training and Development Award, which will recognise learning in the workplace and the way this is impacting on performance.

Recent research by the Institute for Customer Service has found that most Brits rate the UK's consumer care as the best in the world, highlighting the importance of customer service training.

From difficult and demanding customers through to more routine interactions GA Training’s customer service training will ensure that whoever you are dealing with and in whatever situation a consistent and exceptional level of service are always the norm.ADNFCR-1303-ID-19256824-ADNFCR
