Customer service training: Commercial property landlords must prioritise client care
17 July 2009
Customer service training is an essential step for landlords of commercial property, an expert asserts.
Nick Ridley, director of portfolio asset management at DTZ, tells the Birmingham Post that providing a high level of client care should be a top priority.
He states that getting the basics right is the first step, with services being supplied at a high quality with a mind for price.
Customer service training should also encourage interaction, he claims, suggesting that landlords should regularly ask tenants what more they could do to improve services.
Mr Ridley tells the news provider that it is important to treat tenants in a way you would be happy to be dealt with yourself, as this will reduce the risk of the occupant moving to another firm's property in the future.
Customer service training was recently highlighted by an award won by Wrekin Housing Trust, which was given the Customer Service prize at the Shropshire Business Awards 2009.
GA Training provides a wide variety of customer service training courses to both the public and private sectors which help you identify and then exceed the needs and expectations of your customers, providing exceptional service consistently each and every time.
