Customer service training: Hotel group recognised with accreditation

22 June 2009

A company has indicated its high level of consumer care as one of the reasons it has been recognised in a competition, highlighting the value of customer service training.

David Grindrod, food development manager for Warner Leisure Hotels, claims that the group is the first organisation of its type to be awarded the Red Tractor status, which is partly down to the way it looks after its guests.

In addition, it has been given the award as part of its commitment to sourcing food from local and British farms.

Mr Grindrod states: "The move demonstrates how we continually look to push the boundaries in the catering industry and set new standards in customer service."

He attributes the organisation's decision to the increasing desire by guests for locally sourced produce, with the move an example of strong consumer care, highlighting the value of customer service training.

Earlier this month, derivatives exchange the CME Group was selected by Computerworld as one of the best companies to be involved with, partly due to its emphasis on treating users well.
