Customer service training 'highlighted by contact centre week'

17 August 2009

Customer service training has been highlighted by a series of events held for International Contact Centre Week, which focuses on the work done by this industry.

ContactCenterWorld.com is behind the celebration, which runs from September 1st to the 8th and is free to take part in.

Melissa Trickey, the event's organiser at one of Siemens' centres, claims that taking part in the week helped showcase the department's potential, affecting morale and potentially feeding into consumer care, highlighting the value of customer service training.

She says: "It is activities like this - which may seem minor or even silly - that can make such an impact … If our staff are happy in their jobs, they'll treat our customers better."

In other news, the Institute of Customer Service has announced that it will be running National Customer Service Week between October 5th and 11th, which is attracting hundreds of firms, highlighting the value of customer service training.

From difficult and demanding customers through to more routine interactions GA Training’s customer service training will ensure that whoever you are dealing with and in whatever situation a consistent and exceptional level of service are always the norm.ADNFCR-1303-ID-19316650-ADNFCR
