Kwik Fit's innovative customer service recognised

A major insurance company has had its customer service innovations recognised by an industry accolade.
Kwik Fit Insurance has received the Insurance Times Customer Services Initiative of the Year Award due to its development of the SmartCo scheme.
Ensuring users that contact the company's call centres remain with the same member of staff whenever contacting the facility in future, the company maintains a personal relationship with each individual is created.
By encouraging this personal element of interaction, the company intends to create a more engaging experience for the consumer, emphasising the role of customer care.
Anton Manley, the managing director of SmartCo, claims the category it was successful in is famously difficult to succeed at and says he is "pleased" his department has received the accolade.
He adds: "We've always been good with our customers, but this enables people to build even better relationships. It is wonderful to be recognised by the Insurance Times Awards."
At present, Scotland-based firm Kwik Fit Insurance Services employs over 800 people at its Lanarkshire call-centre.
