Nationwide praised for top customer service training

The first Moneywise Customer Service award has praised Nationwide at the most trusted brand.
A number of firms were applauded for their customer service training in the gongs, which were voted for by over 10,000 members of the British public.
Other companies were honoured in the Best Service Awards, with First Direct taking the top place for both online services and call service for their current accounts.
Nationwide also won an award for having the best overall customer services for remortgages, with Abbey finishing runner up.
Speaking about the awards, Jeremy King, publisher of Moneywise magazine, said: "After months of hard work we are delighted to finally be able to give consumers a compass as to which financial services companies they can trust and expect to receive good customer service from."
He added that the awards are a true reflection of the service given to the public as it's based on what they believe, not what the industry thinks.
The Co-operative Bank was recently praised for its customer service training at the Which? awards, winning the Best Financial Services Provider gong.
