Property professionals' customer care training lauded by AIPP

06 October 2008

A selection of international property professionals have been awarded for their customer service training efforts.

Judges at the London ceremony, organised by the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP), announced nine winners from a list of 25 firms nominated for their excellence in customer care.

According to the AIPP, criteria for the awards ranged from both quantitative and qualitative analysis of enterprises' "due diligence processes in advance of selling", the transparency of their marketing and the successful delivery of promised service to clients.

Christopher Hamer, ombudsman for estate agents and chair of the judging panel, remarked: "In my view awards such as these contribute to higher standards of business operation and most importantly to customer service."

Paul Owen, chief executive of the AIPP, added that "the current difficult market" presents an opportunity for agents and developers to set themselves apart from the competition in the arena of customer care.

Global investment consultancy Property Frontiers was given the Best Staff Training accolade at the ceremony, with judges lauding the firm's regular appraisals and mentor system as "admirable".

A non-profit organisation, the AIPP aims to improve professional standards in the international property market.ADNFCR-1303-ID-18812650-ADNFCR
