Pubs are being encouraged to show off their customer service training in a competition to reward the highest standards in this area.
The Publican is calling on these establishments to send off applications for The National Customer Service Awards and compete for the chance to be nationally recognised for their ability.
Businesses looking to take part have until July 21st to submit their information to UBM in order to run in the competition.
According to the news provider, True Lover's Knott from Dorset was among those firms which were winners at last year's competition due to the steps it took to welcome those with hearing difficulties, highlighting the value of customer service training.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Grosvenor House hotel on December 9th and is hosted by the source's parent firm UBM.
Dynamic Business recently reported that entrepreneur and author Dennis Price has claimed that customer service training can give companies a strong advantage over their competitors.
